According to Articulate, sliders are one of the coolest new interactions in Articulate Storyline 2. Here are some great examples:
They can serve as alternative navigation–Instead of clicking or hovering, dragging on a slider carries a bit more novelty and (false??) sense of control. Or maybe it’s just more fun, which most of us like to have.
Adobe Captivate doesn’t have a similar interaction; however, using the available drag and drop interaction, it is possible to build one for yourself, by dragging the slider button, dropping it on the slider bar stops, and triggering a response. In this demo, I used the Captivate 9 states feature, which made it easier to set up the Advanced Actions to change the backgrounds and images. Happy dragging!
